Fifth Gear's Jason Plato Performs Incredible Recovery During Race


In this clip, Fifth Gear's Jason Plato "does a fantastic save after being hit from behind by Jonathan Adam as they enter Paddock Hill Bend; Jonathan was subsequently given a four second penalty which handed Jason the win." Video after the break.

Plato kept the throttle planted, had the steering at full lock and was able to recover from the slide with the kind of minimalist drama only a seasoned veteran (in a front-driver) can deliver.

The process isn't exactly simple, but the results we saw were stunning: multitouch surfaces with responsiveness rivaling Microsoft's $12,000 offering, built in a garage on a shoestring budget.
