Mechanical Alarm Clock

This digital mechanical alarm clock features a "series of cryptic looking numeric black on white segments" that "gradually move into position within a black masking box to reveal the current time." Video after the break. Click here for one more picture.

As time passes, the sliders climb to the top, until the 9th digit on any given position hits. After that, the mechanism disengages and drops the slider all the way back to the zero position.

NYC Waterfall

The 120-foot NYC Waterfall is set to be officially unveiled tomorrow, located "in the East River and under the Brooklyn Bridge." Click here for the first pictures of the waterfall.

Dubai Skyscraper

Called the "Dynamic Towers", this Dubai Skyscraper is basically an "80-story self-powered building rotates according to voice command, and nearly the entire structure of the $700 million building is pre-fabbed." Click here for first picture in gallery.

The system is meant to create enough energy to power to the entire tower and still have juice to spare for some surrounding buildings. According to Fisher, two of these $700 million futuristic scrapers are planned so far, one each in Dubai and Moscow.
