Amazon is selling the unlocked Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 for just $615.99 shipped, originally priced at $999.99. Its "3-inch touchscreen has a 480 x 800-pixel resolution and a 65K color depth, and it features a full physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out the left side of the phone." Product page.
The XPERIA X1's user interface is based on a nine-panel grid desktop, and touching a panel opens up the function or application.
