Coming Soon: Nokia 6700 Classic, 6303 Classic and 2700 Classic

Nokia have announced a trio of new mobile phones with all three taking inspiration from one of Nokia’s biggest success stories, the hugely popular Nokia 6300. Well it’s not a bad phone to draw inspiration from is it! With all three phones finding a different place in the market, the 6700 Classic, 6303 Classic and 2700 classic all opt for a candybar form factor (as the Classic part of the name has now come to suggest). But despite the aesthetic similarities, dig a little deeper and you’ll find that all three phones offer a very different proposition…

Leading the new range is the Nokia 6700 Classic. With a classy metallic finish and smooth screen and keypad, the 6700 Classic is certainly a classic in the looks department. Thankfully, the 6700 isn’t just a pretty face, packing in premium features such as a 5.0 Megapixel camera with autofocus and a powerful LED flash, built in GPS with Nokia Maps included, HSDPA mobile broadband connectivity and expandable memory. If you loved the 6300 but want something with a bit more bite, the 6700 Classic should be right up your street.

Next up is the Nokia 6303 Classic, which, stylistically at least, looks very similar to it’s bigger brother. Inside the smooth outer shell lurks a 3.2 Megapixel camera again with autofocus and a flash, Bluetooth, built in MP3 and video player and expandable memory. And while the phone does lack HSDPA or 3G connectivity, this should help the Nokia keep cost down to a minimum so it can enjoy the same sort of free gift options as predecessor, the 6300.

Lastly we have the more basic Nokia 2700 Classic. What you’ll be pleased to notice is that despite its entry level target, the looks certainly don’t give it away. Behind the 2700 Classics sleek exterior we still find a 2.0 Megapixel camera, perfect for point and shoot photography, MP3 player with a 3.5mm audio input jack and expandable memory helping to turn the 2700 into the perfect portable music device. Again lacking 3G, the 2700 still manages to include Quad band support so you can take it with you on your travels and not worry about picking up signal. The 2700 is finished off with Bluetooth, FM radio and built in hands free.
