Google Phone
There have been many rumours over the past year about Orange, HTC and Google teaming up to create the GPhone, even reports that the phone has actually come out on sale. A standard HTC phone with built in Google software to make internet browsing easier and more importantly quicker. It would also have some of Googles additional services such as Google Earth and Google maps. If the rumours are true, the GPhone should be out at some point in 2008, definitely something to look out for.
Yahoo Phone
Yahoo are also rumoured to be bringing out their own handset, by using ex-Motorola software engineers. The rumours speculate that Yahoo have been working on their phone for much longer than Google, and it should be out by the beginning of 2008.
Whichever comes out first (or at all) it should be an interesting 2008 for mobile handsets
